Welcome to our parish website! I am so very happy that you are visiting our online home! We are a Bible believing community of faith! Our family strives to be a welcoming, embracing and loving community of believers announcing the Good News of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with a passion!
Our church family is very diverse reminding us that in the kingdom of God there is no division but all are one as brothers and sisters with one Father of all. We come together for the central celebration of our faith, the Holy Eucharist, to feast on the Word of God in the first part of our celebration and in the second part we feast on the body and blood of Jesus as we share Jesus’ body and blood which He left us as memorial of His passion, death and resurrection.
If you are looking for a church to call your home, please know that you are welcome at St. Joseph’s. If there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am here to serve you!
Life is beautiful when it is lived with faith. So, fear not, just believe, for the Lord is with us!
With an assurance of my prayers for you and your loved ones, I am your servant and brother in the Lord Jesus,
Father Adam Kotas
FROM POPE FRANCIS
2014 Daily Meditations
“Grace is not part of consciousness; it is the amount of light in our souls, not knowledge nor reason.” __Pope Francis
“This church with which we should be thinking is the home of all, not a small chapel that can hold only a small group of selected people. We must not reduce the bosom of the universal church to a nest protecting our mediocrity.”__Pope Francis
"We have observed that, in society and the world in which we live, selfishness has increased more than love for others, and that men of good will must work, each with his own strengths and expertise, to ensure that love for others increases until it is equal and possibly exceeds love for oneself."_______Pope Francis
“How do we receive the Word of God? As one receives Jesus Christ. The Church tells us that Jesus is present in the Scripture, in His Word. I have advised you many times to always carry a small Gospel with you — moreover, it costs little to buy it, to keep it in your purse, in your pocket, and read a passage from the Gospel during the day. Some practical advice, not so much to learn something, but mostly to find Jesus, because Jesus actually is in His Word, in His Gospel. Every time I read the Gospel, I find Jesus”. __Pope Francis
"Without faith you cannot live without scandal and always forgiving. Only the light of faith, the faith that we have received: the faith of a merciful Father, a Son who gave His life for us, a Spirit that is within us and helps us grow, faith in the Church, faith in the people of God, baptized and holy. And this is a gift, faith is a gift. No one with books, going to conferences, can have faith. Faith is a gift of God that comes to you and this why the Apostles asked Jesus, 'Increase our faith!' ". ___Pope Francis
